Sorbact® Gel Compress is a bacteria-binding gel compress that prevents and treats wound infection. The unique, green Sorbact® surface naturally binds bacteria from the wound that then accompanies the dressing when it is removed. This reduces the number of bacteria in the wound and facilitates healing without any active substances being released into the wound.
Sorbact gel compress consists of a compress with Sorbact's® bacteria-binding wound contact layer together with a water-based gel that releases moisture to the wound and thereby creates an optimal environment for wound healing.
