Description
Dandelion roots are rich in bitter substances, pectin, tannins, inulin and mucilage substances. The bitter substances stimulate appetite and digestion and cause us to produce more bile and other gastric juices, which means that we break down fat and oil better. Tanning substances are mildly astringent and the mucilaginous substances are protective! Can be used for herbal tea.
