Description
Fludent are white, round lozenges that contain 0.25 mg of fluoride and can be used by those who have recurrent or increased risk of caries, such as with dry mouth. The appearance of caries can have various causes and the holes often appear in the places where you cannot reach properly with the toothbrush. If you are bothered by recurring problems with cavities in your teeth or are at risk of getting them, you may need to use extra fluoride supplements. Fluorine is an element that occurs in our nature, water and the food we eat. The substance is stored in our tissues such as bones and teeth. Fludent lozenges contain fluoride and are available in different strengths and flavors. When you suck on a tablet, the fluoride is released into the saliva and sticks to the surface of the teeth. This contributes to the teeth becoming more resistant. Small damages can be repaired, the enamel becomes more resistant to acid attack and the occurrence of caries is prevented. The tablet can be taken from the age of 12 and has a lemon taste.
