Description

The herb guy Stinging nettle (Urticae folium) tastes good and fresh in a cup of herbal tea. The product consists of 100% organic nettle leaves, which you can steep in a cup of hot tea, or mix with other herbs and leaves for a self-composed cup of tea. Nettles contain plenty of vitamins B, C and K as well as minerals such as silicon, potassium, magnesium and iron. The high iron content makes nettles particularly suitable for vegetarians who do not get iron from meat. For being a vegetable, nettles contain a relatively high level of protein (approx. 8 g/100 g) and, just like other vegetables, they are also very rich in fibre. Young leaves are used for nettle soup. Preparation: 1-2 teaspoons to 250 ml of water. Let boil for 20 minutes. Important: Store dry, dark and well sealed. Stinging nettle occurs on culture-affected nitrogen-rich soil throughout the country. The first report of the find was published in Rudbeck's Catalogus plantarum in 1658, but the species was already known in the Middle Ages (Nordstedt 1920). This is our own brand.rtagubben's own herbs come from selected organic growers in Europe.
