SiderAL® Forte is an iron supplement that contains 30 mg of sucrosomal iron together with 70 mg of vitamin C. Sucrosomal iron is absorbed three times as effectively as traditional iron and therefore corresponds to the effect of a full 90 - 100 mg of iron. SiderAL® Forte is a gentle iron supplement, embedded in a protective shell of sunflower lecithin. This means that most people who cannot tolerate regular iron tablets can still use SiderAL® Forte. Large amounts of iron in the gut can negatively affect our gut flora but also contribute to irritating the gut due to iron's ability to form free radicals. Thanks to the low dose and SiderAL Forte's protective casing, these effects can be minimized and you will avoid stomach upset. The gelatin in the capsule comes from cattle (halal and kosher certified). The capsule can be opened in case of possible swallowing problems or if you are a vegetarian and want to avoid gelatin. The powder can then be mixed with suitable food such as yoghurt. You can take SiderAL® Forte with or without a meal and with any food. Everyone except those who practice a vegan diet can use SiderAL® Forte, including pregnant women.
