Hydrocortisone Evolan is used to treat mild eczema. It is a mild-acting hydrocortisone cream that has an anti-inflammatory and anti-itch effect. In the case of mild eczema, the skin may become red and dry. It is also very common to itch. Eczema is due to an inflammation of the skin caused by your reaction to something. Common causes of mild eczema can be, for example, cleaning agents, nickel and cosmetics, but also sun exposure or insect bites. Hydrocortisone can be used to treat eczema in adults as well as in children aged 2 and over.
