Description
Panodil (Panadol) is an over-the-counter medicine that contains paracetamol, which is pain-relieving and antipyretic. Panodil is used for aches and pains of various kinds (e.g. headaches, toothaches, menstrual pains, muscle and joint pains and rheumatic pains) and for fever (e.g. colds).
Panodil can be used by people with sensitive stomachs or ulcers and people with an increased tendency to bleed.
Panodil tablets have a film coating that becomes slippery on contact with the saliva, making it easier to swallow the tablet, while hiding the characteristic taste of paracetamol.
Not for use in children under 40 kg (under 12 years of age).
The active substance is paracetamol 500 mg. The other ingredients are maize starch, pregelatinized starch, povidone, potassium sorbate, talc, stearic acid, hypromellose, triacetin.
