Description
Ipren film-coated tablet 400 mg is an over-the-counter medicine used for mild to moderate pain. Iprene is also antipyretic and anti-inflammatory. For adults and children from 12 years.
Ipren can be used for temporary mild to moderate pain, such as back pain, headache, migraine, menstrual cramps, joint pain, fever during a cold or to relieve symptoms caused by osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. Ipren has anti-inflammatory properties. The effect is usually obtained within 30 minutes after ingestion and the maximum effect is reached within about 1-2 hours. Ipren provides pain relief for up to 8 hours. The tablet is film-coated which makes it easier to swallow.
The active substance in Ipren is called ibuprofen and Ipren belongs to the group of medicines called NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory/antirheumatic medicines). NSAIDs have three important effects that are used in treatment: analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory.
Ipren 400 mg is a painkiller that can be used by adults and children from 12 years of age.
