Hydrocoll thin plates work by absorbing fluid from wounds, then swelling and forming a protective gel. Hydrocoll thin is provided with a kind of protective film that prevents moisture and bacteria from entering the wound area and thus prevents infection. Hydrocoll thin is particularly suitable for the treatment of chronic and slow-healing wounds, as well as the treatment of milder burns. Hydrocoll bandages are gentle on the skin and are free of rosin and gelatin.
