Organic and cold-pressed Almond oil (Prunus dulcis) from sweet almonds. Suitable as hair, face and body oil. Almond oil is made from pressed sweet almonds (the kind we eat). It has a nutty flavor and can be used as a substitute for olive oil. Do not confuse sweet almond oil with bitter almond oil. Sweet almond oil is a solid oil (also known as a base oil). This is the one you combine with essential oils for fragrance and aromatherapy. Almond oil contains both vitamin D and E.
