Description
Duroferon iron tablets are used for blood deficiency (iron deficiency anemia) and for preventive purposes in pregnant women and blood donors. The prolonged-release tablets contain iron that dissolves and is released in the body over a long period of time. The even supply makes it easier for the body to absorb and assimilate the iron. The tablet should be swallowed whole with water. It must not be split, crushed, chewed or held in the mouth. Duroferon tablets are packed in pressure packs. The medicine is sensitive to moisture and should therefore be kept in the original packaging and stored at no more than 25 degrees.
