Rene Voltaire's tea powder is made from 100% Single Origin Naramatcha of the highest quality Yabukita cultivar from the Otani tea garden in Japan. The organic tea is stone ground and has a bright green color and silky taste with umami. Matcha from Nara is considered the original taste of matcha, a tea with less sweetness, a more pronounced umami taste, a brighter green color and an almost oily touch. The fact that the tea is "single origin" means that all raw materials come from the same cultivation and harvest, i.e. quality and taste are consistently ensured by the same family that has grown and produced this tea for generations.
