Description
A book in which Ibn Taymiyyah did not present all the surahs and verses of the Qur’an, as most commentators do. Rather, the imam wanted to collect in this book the verses that resulted in a jurisprudential dispute, or a doctrinal dispute, and he responded in it to those who disagree with him, especially in the belief. But the book remains a book of interpretation, as it also presents an interpretation of the vocabulary and opinions of the commentators, the reasons for revelation, the virtues of some surahs, and the benefits that he extracts from the verses. Volumes 1 and 2 contain an introduction to the science of interpretation.
