Chromium is a mineral that helps to establish normal blood sugar levels as well as normal metabolism of macronutrients in our body. In other words, feelings of hunger decrease and glucose and fat burning increase. If we eat too many fast carbohydrates, drink too much coffee and alcohol, the body is depleted of chromium. If there is not enough chromium in the body, there is a risk that the blood sugar will become unstable and the metabolism will drop.
