Description
Mepitel One can be used for a large number of different wounds such as abrasions and burns. Reduces pain and tissue damage in connection with dressing changes. Mepitel One can remain on the wound for up to 14 days, depending on the condition of the wound, which reduces the need for frequent changes of dressings closest to the skin, only the outer dressing needs to be changed. This helps the wound to heal undisturbed. Mepitel One does not stick to the wound but sticks to the surrounding skin. The wound fluid passes through the holes in the mesh and the wound surface is kept moist without the risk of dissolving the wound edges. Place a compress or bandage on top of the Mepitel mesh and secure with staples or gauze. Mepitel One is a sterile flexible polyamide mesh enclosed in soft silicone.
