Clipper Tea Earl Gray is an organic black tea that has a clear, fresh flavor of bergamot. The tea is Fairtrade labeled so you can enjoy a cup with a clear conscience, and the ingredients are also organic. Black tea gets its characteristic black color from the leaves being first cut or crushed, then oxidized so that they lose their natural green color, and finally dried and packaged. The more finely crushed a black tea is, the shorter time it needs to soak in hot water to give flavor.
