Betolvidone is a medicine that contains 1mg of Vitamin B12 per tablet. Betolvidone is used for a special type of anemia (Pernicia's anemia) that occurs when there is a lack of vitamin B12, but also for other types of B12 deficiency that occur when the body cannot satisfy get the vitamin in the diet in the normal way. The dose is determined by a doctor who adapts it especially for you. B12 is a vital vitamin, among other things for the formation and function of the blood. If the body cannot obtain the vitamin through the diet, a deficiency may occur.
