Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) consists of dried organic lavender flowers. Lavender is a beautiful purple flower that has long been popular for its lovely and characteristic scent. Lavender also has a good taste that goes well with a cup of herbal tea. Mix 1-2 teaspoons in a cup of tea water and wait 5-10 minutes depending on the desired strength of taste. Lavender is a perennial, aromatically scented, grey-green semi-shrub that grows to about five centimeters in height. It blooms in July-August and is counted among the spice plants. In Southern Europe, the leaves are used to season meat. The flower shoots can be harvested and used for lavender bags and potpourri.
