Organic Sea Moss is made from organic carrageenan that has been sustainably harvested on a beautiful island on the west coast of Ireland. Carrageenan seaweed has been carefully air-dried at a low temperature and then ground into powder for filling in the vegetable capsules. Carrageenan contains natural iodine which has the following health claims. Iodine contributes to normal energy metabolism, cognitive function, normal functioning of the nervous system and maintaining normal skin as well as normal production of thyroid hormones and to normal thyroid function.
