Za'atar is one of the most important spice blends in the Middle East. The variations are many, but often include za'atar oregano, sesame seeds and sumac. This blend is specially formulated for manakish - a Lebanese herb pizza. It is also suitable for marinades and seasoning of both meat and vegetables.
