Alpha Plus Iodine is a dietary supplement with 300 µg of iodine per tablet. Iodine is a mineral that participates in several processes in the body and is needed for all cells in the body to function. Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and to normal thyroid function. 75% of all iodine found in the body is found in the thyroid gland. Iodine is also important for the normal functioning of the nervous system, contributes to normal energy metabolism and to normal cognitive function. Alpha Plus iodine has a dosage of 1 tablet per day.
