This is vitamin B6 in the form P5P (Pyridoxine-5-Phosphate). P5P is the active form of B6. In food and dietary supplements, vitamin B6 can be found in three common forms: Pyridoxine hydrochloride, pyridoxal or pyridoxamine. Inside the body, all three of these forms must be converted in the liver into the active form that the body can use; P5P. Some people may have difficulty converting B6 to the active form.
