Cicamed Scar is an effective and discreet gel that softens, smoothes and reduces both old and new scars. The gel is silicone-based and forms a transparent film when you apply it to the scar. This creates a favorable environment and effective scar healing. The result is a finer, smoother and more discreet scar. Cicamed Scar is used to treat several different types of scars, from injuries, surgery, burns, chicken pox, acne scars, appendicitis scars and cesarean sections, among others. The gel can be applied anywhere on the body, including joints and the face. Best results are achieved on active scars that are in an ongoing healing process. Some scars may need longer treatment time. Feel free to continue the treatment as long as there is an improvement. Note, to open the tube: cut the very end of the narrow tip of the tube with scissors.
