OmniVegan D3 is a completely vegan product. Unlike ordinary vitamin D3 which has animal origin and is extracted from lanolin from sheep, OmniVegan D3 has a completely vegetable source of vitamin D. OmniVegan D3 has a high content of vitamin D3 with 75 mcg per capsule. To improve the absorption of the vitamin in the body, sunflower lecithin is also added. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble substance and sunflower lecithin with its content of beneficial fatty acids therefore promotes the absorption of vitamin D3 in the body. Lecithin also contains phospholipids, which are important components of the body's cell membranes.
