Description
Zoviduo is an over-the-counter medicine for the treatment of mouth ulcers. Zoviduo contains two active substances, aciclovir and hydrocortisone. Aciclovir is an antiviral substance that helps fight the virus that causes cold sores. Hydrocortisone is a mild steroid that reduces the inflammation that occurs when you have cold sores. Zoviduo can be used by adults and adolescents from the age of 12. Zoviduo should only be used on canker sores on the lips. Do not use for longer than 5 days.
