Chlorhexidine Fresenius Kabi is a clear and colorless solution. It is intended for disinfection of wounds, disinfection of mucous membranes in connection with childbirth and disinfection of the urethral opening before catheter insertion. Chlorhexidine works by killing or inhibiting the growth of various types of bacteria. The effect can be reduced by contact with soap, blood, any other organic material.
