Mepilex is an absorbent foam dressing that fits easily to moderately exuding and difficult-to-heal wounds. Mepilex contains Safetac ®, the first contact layer with silicone that makes the adhesion less painful and that the dressing can be easily removed without damaging the skin. It means less pain. The Safetac layer also seals the wound edges, protecting the skin from harmful leakage. You can easily cut Mepilex foam dressings to fit a specific wound or area.
