Bio-Oil is a product used on scars, stretch marks, wrinkles and uneven skin. It makes these problem areas less prominent. The skin care oil can also be used to treat dehydrated and aging skin by rebuilding the skin's natural fat layer. The skin is restored and becomes soft and smooth again. Bio-Oil moisturizes scars and stretch marks from, for example, a pregnancy. The formulation is formulated to improve the appearance of scars, but cannot remove them completely. Note that the results may vary between different individuals. Bio-Oil contains several types of oils, including lavender oil, rosemary oil, calendula oil and chamomile oil.
