Mepilex Ag is an antimicrobial foam dressing used on various types of low to moderately exuding wounds. The dressing absorbs wound secretions and reduces the percentage of bacteria without drying out the wound environment. Can be used for the treatment of, among other things, leg ulcers, foot ulcers, pressure ulcers and partial skin burns. Effectively absorbs wound fluid and reduces pain in and around the wound. Mepliex Ag should not be used if you are allergic to silver. Or is undergoing radiation treatment, ultrasound or magnetic X-ray, or together with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide. The package contains 5 bandages in size 10 cm x 10 cm.
