Mepilex Transfer is a flexible, compliant and highly absorbent foam dressing that is used on exuding wounds. The dressing transports secretions to an absorbent outer dressing. The flexible bandage is flexible and can be used on areas that are usually difficult to bandage. Can be cut to desired size. By closing around the edges of the wound, secretions are prevented from leaking onto the surrounding skin. Mepilex Transfer is designed for oozing and difficult-to-bandage wounds such as e.g. malignant tumor ulcers. Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), tag sites, venous leg ulcers and fasciotomy.
